Viviana's Review:

I began reading "Devoured" when I read somewhere that there was a pre-qual novella that would "explain" certain things in "Devoured" allowing you to better connect with characters and understand their perspective. "Devoured" got closed and "All Over You" was downloaded.

South of Surrender Release Day Blitz Giveaway

I am thrilled to welcome Chrysander Notos and Laney Summerlyn to the world today! Chrys and Laney are the hero and heroine of South of Surrender, the third book in my Greek-mythology inspired Hearts of the Anemoi series. The Anemoi were wind gods the Greeks associated with controlling the wind, the weather, and the seasons, and as the summer god, Chrys is the hottest of them all! Chrys just might also be the most tortured of them all. And the thing I love about tortured heroes? Their redemption is so, so sweet! Need more proof? Check out this excerpt with Chrys and Laney in a hot tub (hmm…where could this scene go next? *muhaha!*) as well as the giveaway that follows!

Book Review: "Medusa, A Love Story" by Sasha Summers

Medusa, A Love Story
(Loves of Olympus Series, Bk #1)
By Sasha Summers

Synopsis:
It's said love can change a person. Medusa wasn't always a monster...

Medusa is ruled by duty, to her Titan father and the Goddess Athena. She's no room for the tenderness her warrior guard, Ariston, stirs. When Olympus frees her from service, her heart leads her into the arms of the guard she loves... and curses her as the creature with serpent locks.

Ariston goes to war with a full heart... and dreadful foreboding. He learns too late of the danger Medusa faces, alone, and a Persian blade sends him into the Underworld. But death, curses, nor the wrath of the Gods will keep him from returning to her.

Poseidon will use Greece's war to get what he wants: Medusa. He does not care that she belongs to another. He does not care that she will be damned. He is a God, an Olympian, and she will be his.

Viviana's Review:
An interesting and intriguing twist to the myth of Medusa we all know. We've read the Greek Myths in school and we've seen enough movies regarding the Greek Gods and their story to know of the  'evil', 'man hating', 'monster with snakes on her head' Medusa. Like the first line of the synopsis said "Medusa wasn't always a monster". Imagine the possibility of Medusa being a kind, loving and duty bound Priestess of Athena. She has friends and a family. She has hopes and dreams. She is loyal and takes her vows to Athena seriously. Yet there is a Soldier who's smile makes her heart flutter. Their love cannot be for both have taken an oath. This is the story of a woman, who loved with all her heart, the man that loved her and risked it all and the jealous Gods and Goddess who would see it they would not be together.

Paul's Review:

It is always exciting when one of your top authors has a new book out, and when it became known that it was Qhuinn and Blay's book it just had to be read.  I can relate to Qhuinn in some ways; I have tattoos, dress unlike other guys (I wear a fedora whenever possible), have hardly ever felt like I belonged anywhere, and I am a rocker/metalhead.

Candie's Review:

Vivi hated Connor since he broke her heart in high school. She couldn’t believe that he was back in town and tormenting her with his rock star status and the love of the town. I loved the verbal sparring between Vivi and Connor. She was trying her best to but on a brave face and be the Saint that the pageant contest required so she could win, but Connor just brought out the worst in her. This was a very cute romance and I enjoyed it very much. I had a hard time putting it down once I started reading. For you voracious book readers, this one could be read in one sitting.

Candie's Review:

I really enjoyed this book from Kelly Hunter.  I love stories that have strong emotion and intensity and “The One That Got Away” has a lot of both. I read this book on my flight home from Las Vegas and was so engrossed that I got a stern look and finger wagging from the stewardess when it was way past time to turn off my electronic device for landing.  Whoops!
