Holy Cow! WOW! These women can write!! I’m a huge fan of Laura Wright and have read all of her "Mark of the Vampire" series books and some of her contemporary novels. Totally LOVE Laura Wright!! This was the first time reading Alexandra Ivy! Now I LOVE Alexandra too!!!
“Good night, Fia Dannii. Thank you for a most enlightening evening. Can I give you a call later?” Dion gave her an amused smirk, his teeth barely releasing from his lips.
Top Ten Reasons NOT to Travel in Time to the Sixteenth Century

10.) If a woman gets all snarky with her hubby he has the right to beat her, bind her, and lock her up somewhere. And we’re not talking 50 Shades ladies!
Audio books provide me with the freedom to "read" more since I'm able to listen to them at work. I've been lucky that the majority of the audio books I've listen to have had great narrators. Others I've had to learn to think of them as just reading me the book vs. entertaining me (with the different tones, voices, personalities,etc.). Check out my favorite series in audio below.
Visual Inspiration – For the Love of Hades - Characters
I’m a
visual person. I’m also a movie addict. Combine the two and a lot of my
characters are ‘played’ my actors and actresses. It helps me visualize them
when I write, create ticks, hear their voice – that kind of thing. I know lots
of people who use models, but that’s not enough for me. I need to get a sense
of space and movement… Sound weird? Maybe it does – but, for me, it works.

Viviana's Review:
I really enjoyed and like "Vanilla On Top". Its an interesting story of a woman coming into her own and finally knowing her self worth and taking charge of her own life!
Back in September it was announced that I sold my indie series THE INSIDE OUT TRILOGY to Simon and Schuster. Since then the highly acclaimed series has sold to seven foreign countries, with more under negotiation, and there are some exciting new announcements brewing.
Ember's Curse By Gena D. Lutz Synopsis: For Prime-Werewolf Ember Stilwell, life has been far from normal. Decades ago, a vengeful Witch cursed her Pack, leaving the women of her line incapable of feeling love. When an organized group of immortal killers begin to stalk and capture wolves from her pack, she sets out on a path fraught with danger. Just when it seems the world as she knows it will be changed forever, she meets Collin, an Alpha Werewolf with a body built for sin. As her heart begins to heal, she comes to find that the demons of her past are not nearly as dangerous as the nightmares she will be forced to face in her future. Can finding her true love conquer all? Or will the ability to feel for the first time be overshadowed by losing everything else she holds dear?
I shook my head against him and groaned. I didn't want to hurt him. I had never done this before, so I had no clue how much control I would have over my vampire self. What if I lost it and accidentally drained him?

Viviana's Review:
Usually I review the book first and then the narrators. However, there were a few things that came to mind within the first few chapters of listening that I wrote down immediately. Since those things were all revolving the narrators, let’s start with them. I was excited to have seen that there were two narrators, one male and one female. Why excited? Based on other audio books that I've heard, I thought Ed would read the male characters and narration and Molly would read the female characters and narration. Sigh. That was a disappointing sigh….. They narrated based on the point of view of the character: Ed for Simon’s POV and Molly for Clary’s POV. If the division of POV was organized into parts (Simon – Part One and Clary – Part Two) I believe it would have worked out better. However, that’s not the case here.

This week's question is: If you could choose one supernatural being/creature to really exist, what would it be and why?
Gabriel's Inferno (Gabriel's Inferno, Bk#1) By Sylvain Reynard Synopsis: Enigmatic and sexy, Professor Gabriel Emerson is a well respected Dante specialist by day, but by night he devotes himself to an uninhibited life of pleasure. He uses his notorious good looks and sophisticated charm to gratify his every whim, but is secretly tortured by his dark past and consumed by the profound belief that he is beyond all hope of redemption. When the sweet and innocent Julia Mitchell enrolls as his graduate student, his attraction and mysterious connection to her not only jeopardizes his career, but sends him on a journey in which his past and his present collide.
Viviana's Review:
I've heard all of the raves and love for this book. I've also heard, (okay, read) all of the not so good reviews. It’s been compared to, no, not compared per say but advertised as “If you like ‘Fifty Shades of Gray’ then you’ll like ‘Gabriel’s Inferno’.” I didn't like "FSoG". My issue with "FSoG" was the writing. I believe the concept of "FSoG" to be an interesting one, just poorly executed. However, I loved “Bared to You” by Sylvia Day and “Gabriel’s Inferno” is also compared to it.
Saved by the Trickster By Shona Husk Synopsis: In a world of cold and Darkness, Lysanna is Trickster, a demi-god charged with making people believe in Light and hope. She travels the world creating magic and wonder, taking human assistants to help on stage and warm her bed. Somehow they always betray her, and they always leave. Zander is a fallen Celestial warrior. Cast out of heaven, he has been given one month to earn his way back. When he meets Lysanna he knows what she is. What he doesn’t expect is to discover the pleasures of being human and the burning lust he finds in the Trickster’s bed. Returning to heaven begins to lose its appeal, but he has a duty to fight the Darkness and he can’t let it consume the world. He may have to choose between duty and Lysanna.
Viviana's Review:
I’ve read Shona’s Shadowland series which I really like, so I was excited to have received a copy of “Saved by the Trickster” to review. “Saved by the Trickster” is published by Ellora’s Cave (Erotica Publisher) and falls within their “Romantica” Imprint & “Twilight” Line. Books within the “Romantica” are a “special blend of erotic romance, featuring a central love story, a happy ending and lots of hot sex described in graphic detail, using the kind of language regular people use, rather than flowery euphemisms.” “Twilight” is their “Vamps, ghosts, shifters and other paranormal lovers” line.
I'm extremely happy to be hosting Sasha Summers on her "Hollywood Holiday" tour! Check out the synopsis and excerpt for book 2 of the Red Carpet Series! There's also a giveaway, so make sure to read everything til the end!
