About The Narrator

Vikas Adam is a classically trained actor with numerous credits in stage, film, commercials, television, and e-learning, in addition to his 225+ recorded audiobooks. He quickly established himself in the audiobook world as a versatile actor who embodies characters with clear and distinct voices. Equally at home with a light piece of literature or a dark thriller, a short story or an epic novel (his longest—49 hours!), Vikas’ audiobooks have garnered numerous awards and nominations including the Audie Award in Fantasy, several Audiofile Earphones Awards, and various Best of the Year lists including the LA Times, ALA, and Library Journal. He has recorded books in multiple genres by luminaries including Salman Rushdie, Orson Scott Card, C. Robert Cargill, and Yann Martel. When not recording, acting, or directing, he’s Adjunct Faculty in the Theater Department at UCLA. He was one of the inaugural inductees into The Audible Narrator Hall of Fame.
