For those that may not know you, why don’t we start by having you tell us a little bit about yourself and how you became a narrator?
Raised by a Dutch American father and a New Zealand mother, I was born in Hong Kong, grew up in California, New Zealand and France and now live in New York City. I swear my dad doesn’t work for the CIA. My ability with accents, which I am sure largely came from moving around and having my own accent change when I was a teenager, was what originally led me to audiobook narration. Quite by chance I recorded a New Zealand audiobook for Recorded Books back in 2010. From there I realized this was the job for me and slowly grew it into my career.
