What happens when a conversation about writing takes you from fan fiction to screenwriting, romance, storytelling techniques, and somehow lands on gazebos and parrots?
You just might be talking to Sophie Andrews!
In this episode of the Audiobook Lovin’ Podcast, I sit down with author Sophie Andrews for a genuinely fun, relaxed conversation about her journey as a writer and the many paths that can lead us to the stories we eventually share with readers and listeners.
We chat about fan fiction, screenwriting, romance, and Save the Cat, along with the experiences and ideas that have shaped Sophie’s approach to storytelling.
And, because the best conversations don't always stay on topic, we also find ourselves talking about gazebos, parrots, and plenty of other unexpected things along the way.
This episode is less about a formal interview and more about sitting down, getting comfortable, talking books and writing, and letting the conversation go wherever it wants to go.
If you enjoy getting to know the person behind the books, not just the books themselves, you’re going to have fun with this one.
Listen to the latest episode of the Audiobook Lovin’ Podcast featuring Sophie Andrews!
And as always, until next time… happy listenings!
