Book Review: Dreams of Ivory (Holiday, Montana Series, #5) by Carrie Ann Ryan

Dreams of Ivory
(Holiday Montana #5)
by Carrie Ann Ryan

Blurb:
Jackson Cooper hates magic. Even though his brothers are falling prey to the seductive draw of the paranormal world, Jackson wants nothing to do with it.  He also wants nothing to do with marriage, babies, and all that comes with it. He's content with being the stoic, but quiet Uncle Jacks. But when a woman from his past, one he's been dodging for years, comes back to town, Jackson might have to reevaluate his plans.

Honor Bridges is the tooth fairy. Well, not the tooth fairy, but at least one of them. For the past eight years she's been on her own, hiding from what she truly wants. Now she's back in Holiday and ready to take over her duties...as well as deal with Jackson once and for all. But there's another player in town who isn't happy with the decisions she made all those years ago and Jackson might be the one who takes the brunt of that anger.

Warning: Contains a wickedly spicy tooth fairy--complete with sparkly wings, the most tortured of all the Cooper brothers in all his broodiness, and dreams that are sure to make you never want to wake up in this final Cooper Brother’s installment of the Holiday, Montana series.

Viviana's Review:
Again, Carrie Ann Ryan doesn't disappoint! As much as I was itching and dying to read the final book in the Holiday, Montana Series, I had that sad feeling as it was the end of a great series! I had the opportunity to get to know the Cooper brothers and their significant others. This was a series that caught your attention from the very beginning and continued to make you want more. All the books were sexy, steamy, funny, whimsical, and had a different twist not found in PNR. The entire series read like a contemporary, but it was a PNR.

Jackson, what can I say. He is the one Cooper brother that didn't want anything to do with magic. He accepted it excited and that it was part of the Cooper family, but he was more than okay and even happier that it didn't impact him personally. He's a workaholic! He's the last available Cooper brothers and while the woman lust over him, he's not interested and has earned the reputation of well, being an ass. Why an ass? He doesn't believe in juts dating for the sake of dating and he's had to turn a lot of woman down. They talk. Oh well, right? We know he's not an ass and that's all that matters.

What we didn't know was that he did have a love and that his heart belonged to her solely. Enter Honor, one of the tooth fairies. Actually, she is next in line to be the Queen of the Tooth Fairies. After eight years away from Holiday, Montana, she returns for three reasons. One, she's opening a business in Holiday. Two, she's ready to take her place as a Tooth Fairy and fulfill her obligations. Three, ahh three is Jackson. Well, she "just" wants to let him know she's in town and totally over him. You can imagine what comes next regarding #3, right?

There are a few things that occur that change how Jackson thinks and feels about magic and the time he devotes to work. I won't give you details as they are spoilers and I don't want to ruin things for you. This final installment of the Holiday, Montana series doesn't disappoint.

Oh before I forget, there are few different HEA. That's all I'm saying!!!
