My Top 5 Reasons Why Being a Narrator ROCKS!
I’m going to work backwards! Let the countdown begin!
5) You get to read books you might not have read if you weren’t narrating them, and explore different genres and topics.
4) You get to learn things you never knew before about all sorts of different stuff (places, ideas, sexual positions…)
3) Sometimes you get to work directly with authors, which is so cool. Authors are amazing and I am continually in awe of their talent and dedication to their craft and fans!
2) You can do your work in pajamas or yoga pants with a messy bun and no make up, because no one sees you!
1) You get to do things like THIS! The audiobook community is the best, most thoughtful and supportive group of people. Everyone I meet and interact with in this industry is top notch, and I can’t say enough good things about the business. I feel so grateful to be a part of it, to meet so many smart and sassy folks, and to get to do what I love for a living.
