Book Review: Rebel Ink by Laura Wright

Rebel Ink
(Wicked Ink Chronicles #3)
by Laura Wright

Blurb:
Vincent

Hot chicks and cool ink have been my life, my everything, for the past five years. But with one phone call that bliss is totally shot to shit. Don’t want to hear it. Don’t want to deal with it. But oh yeah, it’s coming for me. The motherfucking past. And who’s along for the ride? You’re never gonna believe it. That’s right, another blast from my past. The one and only rejection. Blondie. Hey…maybe it’s not all bad. Maybe I can finally get her - legs up and back to the mattress, that is.

Lisa

Yes, I’m getting married. And yes, it’s to ‘Buttons.’ I’m not embarrassed and I don’t think it’s a failure. Unfortunately, my bestie doesn’t agree. In fact, she thinks she has to rescue me. But ladies and gents, I’m beyond help. I’m cooked. I just want to fade into the Santa Barbara’s overly polished woodwork. If only a gorgeous tatted, foul-mouthed problem from my past would stop showing up and showing off what I’m never going to allow myself to have.

Viviana's Review:
From the very beginning of the series, I've always liked Vincent's sarcastic ass! I knew there was much more to him and that there was going to be an interesting story. When a new series begin, you never know if a secondary character is going to get their story told or not. I was extremely happy when Laura shared with us that Vincent was indeed going to get his own story.
While it has some time between books being released, Laura does a great job of reminding the readers who everyone is and you're never lost.

I have to admit... I wanted to smack Lisa... really? Making such an important decision such as marriage based on only trying to live on her own for 6 months. I know it can be scary but jeez, come on! I can totally see why Vincent would be making the jokes about the Rich Kid! It also bothered me how she didn't stand up to her parents where her best friend Addison was concerned.  t first though. She turns things around and shows her maturity and that she can actually be a true friend.

Speaking of Vincent, there is a reason why he is the way he is and does what he does, and it isn't what you think. Laura handled a taboo subjected matter as well as one can in 97 pages and Vincent also handled it a la Vincent.

Classic Laura Wright, we have hot and steamy scenes!!!

Overall, a great continuation of the series! Heart felt and emotional!
