Delivered Through the Storm
By Nicole Garcia
Narrated by Wen Ross & Kai Kennicott

Blurb:
Madison Moore is a single mother of two young boys. She's not interested in dating or partaking in meaningless sex. Her only goal in life is to be a good mother and make life as normal as possible for her oldest son who is diagnosed with a learning disability.

When Ryder Storm literally comes crashing into her home and turns her life upside down, she finds herself falling hard. Madison's denial about her feelings and dismissal of his advancements only fuels Ryder's determination to make her his. Madison may think she poses a challenge for Ryder, but victory will be his, and when all her defenses are down, he'll be more than willing to deliver whatever she needs.

Viviana's Review:

I really enjoyed the story and the characters. This is a contemporary romance that is low in 'drama' and high in the 'steaminess' as well as story tell which is a great mix! The pace was also good allowing the reader to get to know and fall for the characters!

Speaking of falling for the characters, you will LOVE Ryder Storm! Not only is he sweet, kind, and sexy as hell, he is also family oriented and a great partner to Madison!

I loved that Madison, the heroine, wasn't written to be the 'perfect' mom and depicted every day parent struggles. Lots of moments that are relatable, funny and adorable! The kids were cute!

Things were so good and I began to wonder what the "issue"/struggle for the couple will be. Again, remember I said this was "low drama". Without including spoilers, the 'cause for heartache" was one that totally caused an eye roll and made you want to get in the heroine's face and yell "HELLO! That can't happen! Just do some research!!". But alas, since you can't yell at the characters, you just listen on and hope the "fix" comes along fast!

Narrators' Review:
Wen and Kai do a great job with their performance. I think this was one of Kai's best of the ones I've listened to as there were less instances of when it seemed a bit over the top when it came to show sarcasm.

There were a few characters that were of Latino descents and spoke Spanish.... I did love hearing Wen speak Spanish... yum... with that said, there were a few instances that included mispronunciations. They weren't major (i.e. hombre (man) instead of hambre (hungry)) per say, but listeners who are bi-lingual will pick this up and might distract from the flow of the story.

Overall, this was a really good audiobook and I'm glad I listened to it! Nicole wrote a really nice love story with characters readers would love and want to befriend!
