Boy Toy
(Man Hands Series, bk #3)
by Sarina Bowen & Tanya Eby
Narrated by Teddy Hamilton & Tanya Eby

Blurb:
A brand new romantic comedy from your favorite snort-laughing duo!

Liam
The moment Sadie Matthews walks through the daycare center door, I feel my world tilt in her direction. Again. I fell for her when I was fourteen, and I’m still not over her. Problem: she still thinks of me as a teen she used to babysit. But I’ve learned a few things about pleasing a woman in the last fifteen years. I can’t wait to show her how good it could be. I need to move quickly before I lose her again. This is more than a game to me, but I still plan to win.

Sadie
I’ve just survived the worst year of my life. As a single mom of twin toddlers, I don’t have time for a man. I barely have time to finish a thought. Who knew that Liam McAllister would grow up to be so devastating? He’s everything my husband was not: tall, built, and willing to have a tea party with my girls.

I can’t possibly get involved with him. He’s too young for me. Too handsome. But he’s so persuasive...

Viviana's Review:
I loved the first two books in the series and automatically added the third to my TBL (to be listened) list and couldn't wait!! We get blurbs and more info on the book and I'm totally still eager to listen to Boy Toy. Fast forward to release day of the audio and that puppy got downloaded and began to listen! While the male narrator was changed (and I LOVE Luke Daniels in this series), I was totally more than fine with Teddy Hamilton taking the reigns! Loved his performance and I think he was the perfect fit for Liam's character.

While this installment is not as funny as the previous two, its still hilarious and you will catch yourself laughing out loud. Part of the humor is Sadie's reaction to Liam and their chemistry. Boy Toy uses one of the many taboos in the romance genre... the older woman/younger man. Usually the age difference is a lot however, in this case its not. Sadie is 5 or 6 (sorry can't remember specifically) and that's not a huge/big difference at all. This 'issue' of the Sadie being older was repeated a lot and it wasn't necessary. Honestly, I would have thought that Sadie having two children (twins - totally cute & adorable) would have been a bigger concern or topic and its mentioned once but made more to be about him being a young 29yr old.... This is why my rating isn't a 5 Star but less. It was a bit much. Otherwise, totally loved it!

I LOVED Liam! He was a great mix of sweet, smart, sexy, caring, etc. and I simply loved how he pursued Sadie even when things hit the fan. He knew what he wanted and wasn't shy about letting her know. In fact I LOVED that it was the male that realized and vocally shared that he wanted more!

Sadie was a hoot! I feel so bad for her and what she's gone through. I can relate to 'not being as young as we used to be' and wanting to be just as attractive as others may remember... but life is life and she finally comes to turns that as long as she is happy and the one she is with loves her and finds her attractive, then that's what's matter.

Narration: OMG - Both Teddy & Tanya KILL it!! Their performance elevated the already great story to one that you'd want to listen to again and totally recommend to everyone!! Each gave their characters their own tones making and just brought them to life. Their comedic timing is spot on as well! Teddy is fast becoming one of my favorite male narrators!

Overall, I loved it (except for that age thing) and I'm sad that this is the end of this series. I'm hoping that maybe Sarina & Tanya will do a spin-off series based on Liam's siblings.... maybe... perhaps... wishful thinking! Seriously though, I'd love to listen to their stories!!

Rating: 4.5 Stars - Really Loved it!!
