Dreams of Ivory
Holiday Montana #5
by Carrie Ann Ryan
Release Day: July 16, 2013

Jackson Cooper hates magic. Even though his brothers are falling prey to the seductive draw of the paranormal world, Jackson wants nothing to do with it.  He also wants nothing to do with marriage, babies, and all that comes with it. He's content with being the stoic, but quiet Uncle Jacks. But when a woman from his past, one he's been dodging for years, comes back to town, Jackson might have to reevaluate his plans.

Honor Bridges is the tooth fairy. Well, not the tooth fairy, but at least one of them. For the past eight years she's been on her own, hiding from what she truly wants. Now she's back in Holiday and ready to take over her duties...as well as deal with Jackson once and for all. But there's another player in town who isn't happy with the decisions she made all those years ago and Jackson might be the one who takes the brunt of that anger.

Warning: Contains a wickedly spicy tooth fairy--complete with sparkly wings, the most tortured of all the Cooper brothers in all his broodiness, and dreams that are sure to make you never want to wake up in this final Cooper Brother’s installment of the Holiday, Montana series.

Book Review: The Officer Breaks The Rules (Semper Fi #2) by Jeanette Murray

The Officer Breaks The Rules
(Semper Fi #2)
By Jeanette Murray

Captain Jeremy Phillips believes in doing his duty...both as a son and as a friend. This means that he should obey the "friend code" and stay away from his best friend's little sister. Too bad Madison O'Shay doesn't believe in his code and is ready to break all of the rules

As a Navy nurse, Madison is finally stationed next to the man she's been dreaming about for years. And she's ready to launch a full-scale attack to show this thoughtful, handsome Marine that they belong together.

Available for purchase at

Viviana's Review:
Jeanette Murray (Author) set up Jeremy's and Madison's story in book 1 "The Office Says I Do". I knew they were going to be the focused of the next book and I couldn't wait! I will say that though this is part of a series, it can be read as a stand alone without any problems.

Per the blurb, you know that Jeremy is trying to "do the right thing" by staying away from his best friend's younger sister, Madison and that she has been, well, let's not kid ourselves, she's been in love with him since she was 16 yrs old (when they first met). Now she's 26 years old and tired of the bantering back and forth, the tension that they both feel when they are in a room together and the shiver down her spine when she catches him watching her.

The tension between these two is, like wow! There's passion, emotional connection and a physical attraction that is magnetic! Literally, these two cannot stay away from each other. The author does a fantastic job of conveying the emotions of both Jeremy and Madison without making either of them sound like a jerk or a whiny and meek woman. On the contrary, you fall in love with both of them!

This is a wonderful story and continuation to a great series! Now I'm looking forward to getting my hands on "The Officer and the Secret (Semper Fi #3)"!

Rating: 4 Stars - Love It!

I really enjoyed the first book in the Penny Dreadful Series. It had all the elements in a book that I love; Goth style, sexy vampire alpha male, mystery, intrigue and a badass band.

OMG, I would be interviewing Reyes! Oh talk about nerves! I mean really! This is THE REYES ALEXANDER FARROW! Son of SATAN. Granted, we all know he is tall, dark, dangerous, mysterious, sexy, wait, where was I going with this? Anyways, we know he can be harsh, but a good guy deep down. Wish me luck everyone!

Guest Post & Giveaway: The Dysus Dreamer by JA Garland

A few brave souls and I recently participated in a Run For Your Lives--Zombie race in Seattle, WA. Our mission, to traverse a challenging obstacle course through hundreds of walking and running dead while protecting three red flags hanging from a belt around our waists. The zombie's mission was to grab our flags before we crossed the finish line, thus making us one of them.

While there were many lessons learned during this event, they can be grouped into three main after action report (AAR) items.

Book Review: Dead Ever After By Charlaine Harris

Dead Ever After
(Sookie Stackhouse Series)
By Charlaine Harris

There are secrets in the town of Bon Temps, ones that threaten those closest to Sookie—and could destroy her heart...

But her relationship with Eric Northman is not so clearcut. He and his vampires are keeping their distance…and a cold silence. And when Sookie learns the reason why, she is devastated.

Then a shocking murder rocks Bon Temps, and Sookie is arrested for the crime.

But the evidence against Sookie is weak, and she makes bail. Investigating the killing, she’ll learn that what passes for truth in Bon Temps is only a convenient lie. What passes for justice is more spilled blood. And what passes for love is never enough..

Available for purchase at

Candie's Review:
The last few Sookie books left much to be desired as her relationship with Eric Northman started to fizzle out. This disappointed me greatly, as Eric was always my dark horse for Sookie in the series.  As time went on, I could tell where the series was headed and while I understand Charlaine’s choices for Sookie, they just didn't sit right with me.

Guest Post: Demon Possession by Kiersten Fay

Welcome Kiersten Fay to Enchantress of Books!!

Things I try to avoid when developing a story.

Some topics and plots are easy to fall back on when writing. Why do you suppose we have so many detective shows on television right now? Because they are easy to write—carbon copies of each other, practically. Romance has its own set of pit-falls. A.k.a., anything on Lifetime. Although, I must admit, Lifetime is stepping it up a notch, lately.

About the Author

Although I have always enjoyed writing, the dream to become a writer came when I read A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare, in the sixth grade. My early works, not published, were in the form of children's stories I would read to my two daughters. I divide my days between the real world and the ones I've created. My life and my characters keep me very busy in my Mid-Western scene, where I live with my husband, and my children (both human and furry).

Book Review: Big Sky Blue (Shades of Blue Trilogy) by Hildie McQueen

Big Sky Blue
(Shades of Blue Novella)
By Hildie McQueen

Left to raise his infant son alone, a hardened Hank Cole is determined to make the best of it while prospering his ranch, but when a beautiful woman literally lands on his doorstep, he is helpless against the attraction between them.

Elizabeth Cole is too outspoken for gentle society, but she may be the perfect match for a tough Montana cowboy.

A story of two very different people who belong together, proof that sometimes fate can have a sense of humor when it comes to love.

Available for purchase at

Viviana's Review:
I had forgotten how much I enjoy a good historical, western romance! I missed my sexy cowboys! "Big Sky Blue" is a lovely novella that grabs a hold of you and doesn't let go! Hank Cole is a responsible, handsome and wonderful father who must now raise his son on his own. Elisabeth is an independent and smart woman who doesn't fit in well in her native Virginia high society, because, well, like I said, she's smart and independent.

Viviana's Review:
This book came home with me from the RT Convention (May 2013). The cover was catching as it's different from the covers that are currently out there. Flip the book over and the blurb tugs at your heart. This book landed on my TBR Mountain (which of course you know its literally the size of a mountain so this wasn't going to land on the top of the list) and the "Giveaway Shelf". So when I grabbed it off the shelf for a giveaway I was holding on my FB Page (What? Did you miss it? Oh, sorry Love! No worries, more giveaways to come as well as here) I didn't think anything off it. Since I usually pose a question for people to comment so they are entered, I began to flip through the book to find something to ask. I landed on a page and began to read. Read some more. Then caught myself and flipped through the pages again and landed on another... Intriguing! After two more times of doing this, I decided 'I Must Read This Book'! I did! That very night!
