Book Review: Lord of the Wolfyn by Jessica Andersen

Lord of the Wolfyn
(Royal House of Shadows, Bk #3)
By Jessica Andersen

Synopsis:
Once upon a time… the Blood Sorcerer vanquished the kingdom of Elden.

To save their children, the queen scattered them to safety and the king filled them with vengeance.

Only a magical timepiece connects the four royal heirs…and time is running out.…

For practical Reda Weston, nothing could explain how reading a sexy version of "Little Red Riding Hood" catapulted her into another realm—face-to-fang with the legendary wolf-creature who seduced women. A wolf who transformed into a dark, virile man….

Dayn cursed the Sorcerer that turned him wolfyn and damned him to a lonely fate. As a beast, he mated with women to gain strength.

Strength he needed to rescue his royal parents. But as a man, he craved Reda's heated, sizzling touch. With little time left, Dayn had to either embrace his wolf to save his kingdom…or fight it to save his woman.

Viviana's Review:

Jessica Andersen was the reason why I picked up this series. I had heard great thing regarding her books and she is the Critique Partner for J.R. Ward. This was the first time reading something from her. I was not disappointed at all! This is the 3rd installment of the series and my favorite!!!!
Reda is a modern woman that believes in the facts. However, her memories of a story and perhaps an enchanted book leads her to an adventure she would have never predicted.

Cursed and now alone, Dayn accepts his fate and is waiting for the mysterious woman that will help him save his kingdom. But things in fairy tales are never that cut and dry.

A great twist on to the classic "Little Red Riding Hood". The characters are fantastic. They are extremely well developed but continue to grow as the story is told! LOVED that the Heroine is strong and independent yet vulnerable. Our Hero is sexy, determined and smart! The love story develops quickly but doesn't feel rushed!!!

Can't say much more as it would be considered "Spoilers" and I wouldn't want to do that to you!! :)

Though its the 3rd book in the series, it can most definitely stand alone!

Rating: 4 Stars - Loved It!
